It was a conversation with two military historians that set Larry Toerber down a path investigating a secret military event during World War II that eventually led to this book.

Larry will be joining us on Saturday, October 26 at 1pm to tell the story behind "Exercise Tiger: The Silent D-Day "Link" of World War II".
It's a story of how generations of Toerbers, a 1940s farm family, lost a family member: a WW II soldier; son; brother & husband, and how many families were influenced by his loss.

Exercise Tiger was a secret ops WW II military mission off the Dorset coast near Slapton Sands, England in preparation for D-Day invasion. It went horrifyingly wrong. Many lives were lost and families were not told the truth of what happened for many years.
