"Follow: Genuine Discipleship in the Modern Age" by Matt Walker Thrift explores the concept of discipleship as a transformative journey rather than a simple roadmap. Matt emphasizes the importance of building one's life on the foundation of faith in Jesus Christ, drawing on biblical teachings and the examples of early Christians who faced significant challenges for their faith. The book covers key aspects of discipleship such as prayer, Bible study, worship, fellowship, service, obedience, evangelism, and spiritual growth through practices like Sabbath and fasting. “Follow” also discusses the role of suffering in strengthening faith, encouraging believers to live out their faith in a way that reflects Christ, even in the face of adversity.
