Newton Police will provide digital photos and fingerprints of children to parents as a proactive measure for possible use in an emergency. The information obtained is provided free of charge to parents and is not kept on file by the Newton Police Department.
The child ID system is sponsored by the Newton Police Department and Midland National Bank.
