Registration is now open for the Newton150 Golf Tournament, part of the City’s year-long celebration of its Sesquicentennial.
The event is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 30 at Sand Creek Station Golf Course, 920 Meadowbrook Dr. in Newton. Sign-in will begin at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
Registration is open to the public. Individuals and teams can register online at newtonkansas.com/150golf.
The entry fee is $100 for individuals or $400 for teams of four. That includes range, cart and greens fees, dinner, Newton150 merchandise, contest holes, and top team prizes.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Newton Public Library’s fundraising campaign for a new library building.
