The annual Newton Toy Run starts from Chisholm Trail Shopping Center off of exit 28 on I-135. Line- up starts at noon, and the ride begins at 1 p.m. All vehicles are welcome. An auction will be held at 2 p.m. with auctioneer Nick Holzrichter. Routes will go through town via Old 81 Hwy and end at American Legion. Families are encouraged to come watch the parade and visit with Santa.

Buttons cost $2, and chili and fixings costs $4. Purchase of a button will enter you in a raffle for $100. All proceeds benefit needy children of Harvey County through the Salvation Army. For more information, call 284-2498 or 727-4611.
